This past weekend my run schedule was thrown out of wack. I worked back to back 12 hr plus days and tried to squeeze family time into the mix. My long run Saturday got pushed to Monday.
Monday : great start but hit wall at mile 3! Pushed myself further from the house to mile 5. I was listening to one of my " how to run better books " on #audiblebooks and the author is talking about lactose threshold, running form and such then hit me like a brick.
My running form currently sucked and I was doing my body no good pushing it especially since this run was out schedule already. I stopped my tracking devices and walked home the remaining 5 miles. Listening to the book and the walk home I decided to "run with good form and quality" next time I miss a run I will just move to next on schedule instead of trying to make it up. [ i must truly be a slow learner. I have read this at least 10 times reading run training books/magazine s]
