Schedules & Family
Winter has come to Dallas. I am that person when it's cold outside I like a good warm blanket, my furry babies and something warm to drink. Our training schedule is 6 days a week of things that if you were a single person with no life would do fine. Me on the other hand it's really, REALLY struggling to get them all done. I look forward to Mondays because that is an off day the ONLY off day coach Mike has for me. Who am I fooling this week Wednesday, my oldest kid came to eat dinner. I ran home to get started on dinner and had a lovely time. Didn't workout 😂 Friday, ladies night out with "the kid" class moms. Which was so much fun we did facials and drank wine. Didn't workout 😂 Now Saturday, the longest day of training. Saturday mornings normally would be a long bike ride with our tri group but if the weather is below 40* the rule is no ride. 😂 I've not been on my bike on a real street yet, just riding it on the hamster wheel in the living room. Well it's that special? Danny was off Saturday and being in retail getting close to the holiday season is really unheard of for him. The kid sleeps till 9am on Saturday, hallelujah the good Lord was showing favor to us. We got up and got ready and headed to the gym. I love the workouts with Danny, but I don't like Danny trying to be my coach. Can't he just be my sugar daddy and buy all the stuff it takes to do these races? Really it's crazy. Being fit, fabulous & healthy is not cheep. Workout Saturday was one hour run on the treadmill, dread mill or what I like to call the hamster wheel. It wasn't to bad I got a new pair of earphones(yurbuds) I really like them. What I did this time since we were inside was watched a movie. My experience on the treadmills are not pleasant. I've had people around me go too fast I just knew they would fly through the glass in front of us, talking on the phone, passing gas, talking so loud to another person beside us. I would rather pull my hair out than run in the gym. Danny made it all better. One hour running we changed and went to do our laps in the pool. I find Saturday mid morning there are not many people doing laps and can be enjoyable. I only hit the guy in the next lane once so I call that a good day. Not sure how I'm going to do a mile swim in an hour. 😯 Well the day ended with my sugar daddy coming through and took me to REI for two new bike outfits. I have to say the bike shorts are going to be something I've got to get used to. It really feels like I've got a big diaper on. They really make a curvy girl like me look not so sexy. All in all it was a great week with family and workouts. Just need to remind myself that every week I'm getting stronger one workout at a time
after our run together
